Statistics show that today there are 7.5 million couples living together and marriages has dropped 54 %. The average wedding in the state of Washington runs about $26,000.00 and climbing. It seems to be the greatest reason that keeps a couple from getting married. Cedar Park Church wants to give couples who are living together and unable to afford a wedding an opportunity to "do the right thing". The requirements are simple and the benefits are many. The conditions required to qualify are: registration with the church, have Washington State marriage license, pre-marriage counseling, traditional vows, and the service conducted by a pastor from Cedar Park. Although not a requirement, they do ask that the couple would consider church attendance.

In order to help couples who live together make that final decision to get married and help remove the "guilt associated with living with someone they are not married to," Cedar Park Church has provides all the needs and wants most people desire for a wedding. Desiring the day to be special while showing compassion to those in this position they include: music, floral package (including bouquets and boutonnieres for Bride, Groom, Bridesmaid, Groomsmen, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer.) The bride is not required to wear a wedding dress but they do require modest attire. As many as up to six attendants total are allowed.
