ABOUT DR. NEUGHEBAUER
Dr. Neughebauer received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania, as Valedictorian for the class of 1992. To broaden his medical knowledge, he placed an equal emphasis on all three major aspects of medicine: clinical practice, research and teaching. He was involved in both basic and clinical research for almost two decades and his results were presented at international conferences and published in books and scientific papers. Dr. Neughebauer completed his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 1996. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi. Dr. Neughebauer completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Seton Hall University in New Jersey in 1999, and an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York in 2001.
Dr. Neughebauer is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American Society for Microbiology, and the American Medical Association. He is certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. In his leisure time, Dr. Neughebauer enjoys stamp collecting. He also dedicates much of his free time to humanitarian causes.
