CBN.comHOLLYWOOD AND THEIR HYPOCRITES...
Earlier this year, Mattera released Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth about Obama's Biggest Backers. In it he describes the who behind the what, giving readers a very detailed look into the lives of left-sided celebrities.

"Hollywood celebrities," he shared, "preach to us to vote for Barack Obama and his leftist policies, yet not even they live by the values Obama and the progressive left stand for...If conservatives and Republicans are going to win in 2012, we must muzzle Obama's backers. And that starts with a full-scale investigation of the positions they take and the lives they actually lead." This naturally led Mattera to write his latest book. As he mentioned, "I wrote Hollywood Hypocrites to create an ammunitions stockpile of eye-popping hypocrisies that we can use at our disposal to muzzle the same Tinseltown toolbags who like to lecture and hector us on the environment, civil rights, gun control, and tax hikes. There are 540 endnotes packed of investigative research that explores whether the Hollywood elites live by the same policy prescriptions they try to foist on the rest of us. Conclusion: Not even Obama's staunchest supporters live the by the crap he seeks to inflict on us. Hollywood is more important than many of us like to believe. Not only do they help sell Obama's propaganda, but they help him raise boatloads of cash..." Ultimately, Hollywood has much more power than we give it credit for. And it is time, Mattera insists, that we take notice.

TAKING NOTICE
In his book, Mattera confronts every A-list celeb without the slightest reservation. He targets Alec Baldwin, Oliver Stone, Cameron Diaz, Michael Moore, Paul McCartney, Matt Damon, Robert Redford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, Whoopi Goldberg, Arianna Huffington and even Spike Lee.

* Bono: "...while Bono has championed the cause of fighting poverty and injustice in the impoverished world, the fact is that his band has moved part of its business to a tax shelter...Tax avoidance and tax evasion cost the impoverished world at least $160 million every year. This is money urgently required to bring people out of poverty."

* Bon Jovi: "In 2010, Bon Jovi scored $200 million in gross concert receipts. To date, Bon Jovi has sold more than 130 million records worldwide. And like every hard-working blue-collar worker, Bon Jovi retires nightly to his quaint fifteen acre, $22.25 million mansion estate." And let's not forget that he also doubles as a bee keeper, which means that he is able to write off 98 percent of his property taxes.

* Bruce Springsteen: "Bruce Springsteen pays over $138,000 a year in taxes for his three-acre home in Colts Neck, New Jersey. He owns another 200 adjoining acres. But because he is a part-time farmer...his tax bill on the remaining 200 acres is just $4,639 bucks...By being a fake farmer as well, the working-class zero Springsteen is making a mint by robbing New Jersey of the antipoverty program funds he says they desperately need."

* Barbara Streisand: "She demands that she be supplied with '120 bath-sized towels immediately upon arrival.' Perhaps she needs all these towels to hand-wash the army of vehicles she requires for her tour. Among the fleet are thirteen 53-foot semi-trailers, four rental vans, and fourteen crew and band buses, and, of course, the requisite limo befitting any limousine liberal. This doesn't include the numerous private jets she hops abroad frequently...and she spends $22,000 a year watering her lawn and gardens."

* Harrison Ford: "Ford, who has been flying since he was fifty-two years old and is the proud owner of seven aircraft, told the publication, 'Learning to fly was a work of art. I'm so passionate about flying I often fly up the coast for a cheeseburger."

KEEP IN MIND
While some might debate the importance of knowing which celebrity does what, Mattera insists that ignorance is not the answer. As he pointed out, "Unfortunately, our generation is made up of a bunch of circus animals, spoiled brats who aren't thinking for themselves - and they're prime targets to be lobotomized by liberalism. We're able to live clueless lives today because we don't have to worry about some government death squad rounding us up and axing us to death, as the young people have to look out for in Iran. But when you're able to live a clueless life, it breeds a lazy logic...Young people today become liberals through osmosis. It's hard for them to miss it...they are getting the way the world works through John Stewart, a moron - and they're watching their MTV... So the deck is currently stacked against us."

But, as Mattera asserts, "It's precisely why their hypocrisies must be exposed, their ideas challenged and their idiocy called out at every turn. Last go around, Republicans sat back like wimps and let Barrack Obama's celebrity fueled cool machine steamroll them into electoral smithereens. This time around, we must be the ones doing the steamrolling."
